about me professionally
First off, I am an IT Professional with 20 years of experience in project development and lifecycle management. I am an optimistic, imaginative, hard working self-starter and a proven leader.
I have worked with XENIX, UNIX, Linux, and MS Windows. I was responsible for researching, choosing and implementing future platforms and software. I was responsible for implementation on all our platforms which
included our software services, system administration, system balancing and tuning and all the operating policies pertaining to working on those platforms for both Micros Systems, Inc. and our customers.
Additionally my background includes programming in DB/C, C, Java and shell scripting including bourne, korn and perl.
Having spent more than 19 years at Micros Systems, Inc., through name changes and mergers, I spent most of my time working with the DB/C programming language with responsibilities in the design, programming and implementation of large scale software projects for Property Management Systems, Inventory Control, Financial Accounting Systems and Central Reservation Systems. My focus for much of that time was on developing interfaces written in DB/C, C, Java and scripting employing XML, SOAP, Web Services, RS232, Arcnet and ethernet connections, covering a huge array of systems and implementations.
